Construction Works on a Drinking Water Supply Pipe for the Domaine-en-haut Sector
the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion will receive tenders for the project " Construction work for a drinking water supply pipe for the Domaine-en-Haut sector ".
TENDER AND CONTRACT GUARANTEE The general contractor must include in his bid: A certified cheque, drawn from a Canadian chartered bank, a savings bank, a credit union doing business in Quebec and payable in the name of Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion or a bid bond issued by a insurance in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The bid security must be valid for ninety (90) days.
A letter of intent issued by an insurance company confirming that if the contract is granted and accepted, it will issue in favor of the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion a performance bond and a bond for wages, materials and services, each for fifty percent (50%) of the business contract and/or the issuance of surety bonds in accordance with the examples attached to the tender document. The guarantor must waive the benefit of discussion.
The contractor must complete and sign the declaration of the tenderer contained in the tender documents, failing which his tender will be rejected. Bids must be submitted using one of the following procedures:
This call for tenders is subject to the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Quebec and Ontario (ACCQO), the Agreement for the Release of Public Markets in Quebec and New Brunswick (AQNB) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). ADJUDICATION The City of Vaudreuil-Dorion does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received or to incur any costs or any obligation of any kind towards the tenderer(s).
