**As of June 13, 2022 this project has been awarded to Alabama Grading and Excavation for $714,915.50** Project Description: 600-foot Directional Bore under Interstate 59 at Mile Post 179 with 12" Fusible PVC Casing and 8" Fusible PVC water main, grout fill of existing water main, installation of 2,000 feet of 8" PVC, 6,500 feet of 6" PVC, reconnection of approximately 28 water meters, 5 fire hydrants and related appurtenances. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security according to the requirements in Document 002113 - Instructions to Bidders and Document 003100 - Available Project Information. G. Refer to other Bidding requirements as described in Document 002113 - Instructions to Bidders and Document 003100 - Available Project Information. H. Submit Bids on the Bid Form provided. Bidders are required to submit the bid form and the bid bond at the time of the bid. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, the bidder's General Contractor's license number, the project name, and bid date. Bidders are asked not to submit the full contract documents and specifications book at the time of the bid. I. Bidders must carry the Municipal and Utility construction classification as listed in the roster of the Alabama State Licensing Board for General Contractors to be considered for the award of the project.
