Compensation Type: Lumpsum Q&A deadline: 05/04/2022 11:00 AM County(s): Statewide Nevada Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) Upgrade The purpose of this RFP is to hire one firm to upgrade the DEPARTMENT's current Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) in order to provide a high level of customer service and an ATMS that meets modern standards for timeliness, user-friendliness, security, high availability, redundancy, and accessibility. The intent of this project is to deploy, operate, update, maintain, and monitor an ATMS that efficiently operates the DEPARTMENT's Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) devices, and provides an intuitive and helpful user experience. The upgraded ATMS will allow for more efficient operation of DEPARTMENT roadways through modern system design and adaptability. This system is critical for the operation of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) devices that provide real-time traffic information to both the Road Operation Centers (ROC) and the traveling public. ROC operators utilize ATMS for a variety of activities, including traffic camera operation, posting messages to Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), ramp meter operations, flashing beacon operation, and operation of the Active Traffic Management (ATM) system in Las Vegas. The existing system has been operating since 2015. The project approach has been organized into three phases: Preliminary Engineering and Design; Development and Deployment; and Operations, Support and Maintenance. See RFP for full Scope of Services.
