HANCOCK PARK DISTRICT FINDLAY, OH BRIGHT CONSERVATION AREA WETLAND RESTORATION PROJECT Hancock Park District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Bright Conservation Area Wetland Restoration Project 060-003 The Project includes the following Work, located at the Bright Conservation Area, 10184 Township Road 244, Findlay, Ohio 45840: Excavation and grading of new wetland features; permanent placement and stabilization of excavated soil at a designated location within the site; placement of on-site woody debris within the new wetland features; removal and plugging of existing subsurface drainage tiles; installation of new drainage pipes and appurtenances; installation of a water control structure; and native tree, shrub, live stake plantings and seeding. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Bright Conservation Area Wetland Restoration Project Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Pre-bid Conference Instructions to Bidders The bid check / bond shall be enclosed in the sealed bid, but in a separate envelope clearly marked BID CHECK / BOND with the bidders name and address on the bid check / bond envelope. Bid Security shall be furnished in Accordance with Article 8 of the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall furnish proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in Article 3 of the Instructions to Bidders. Time of commencement of the Work and Contract Times for completion shall be in accordance with Article 4 of the Agreement. The proposals must be made on the forms provided in the contract documents, or a copy thereof. The Engineer s Estimate for this project is $262,695. This project is grant-funded by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources under the H2Ohio Program with a maximum construction budget of $262,695. Hancock Park District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals; to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, or to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to Hancock Park District. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
