A) The Contractor shall respond within (1) business day to Emails or Phone calls from corresponding section Superintendent or appointed designee. B) Scheduling of jobs shall occur within (2) business days after initial contact by the corresponding section Superintendent or appointed designee. C) Work shall begin within (14) business days after scheduling has been approved by the corresponding section Superintendent or appointed designee. The Contractor shall provide all preparation and masking materials, labor, tools, equipment, supervision, utilities, insurance, and consumables (excluding paint and primer) for interior painting, exterior painting and wrought iron fence painting as requested. All materials, preparation and workmanship shall conform to the requirements of the latest edition of the Architectural Painting Specification Manual by the Master Painters Institute (MPI) as issued by the local MPI Accredited Quality Assurance Association having jurisdiction. The City of Palmdale will purchase all primer and paint. Contractor shall receive City provided primer and paint as directed by the corresponding section Superintendent or appointed designee.
