Renovation of a detention facility in Tiptonville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
New cameras on poles will be installed around the perimeter of Northwest Correctional Complex. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject bids. Question Deadline 12/10/2024 Bidders shall submit questions about Bidding Documents to Designer in writing Questions must be received by Designer at least six calendar days before bid due date. The project consists of furnishing and installing cameras, fiber cabling, CAT6 cabling, switches, conduit, and fiber network switches as components for the new Camera system as defined in the Project Manual. The contractor shall furnish and install UPS, Make Before Break Bypass Switch, and Surge Suppression for the additional UPS units. Ongoing services and installations under separate contracts shall be verified and coordinated prior to construction. In any case of error, omission, discrepancy, or lack of clarity, the deficiency shall be identified and brought to the attention of the Project Engineer for proper clarification prior to the bid due date. C. The existing Camera and UPS system will remain operational during the installation of the new system. D. The status of existing Camera and UPS system shall be documented prior to beginning modifications and interfaces with other systems that are part of this project. The new system shall be networked and constructed such that it functions as a single integrated system.
