Renovation of a detention facility in Tiptonville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
For a Contractor to furnish and install an acoustical lay-in ceiling in the MIS building located at Northwest Correctional Complex, 960 State Route 212, Tiptonville, TN 38079. We strongly encourage a scheduled site visit to review existing conditions prior to bidding. Please refer to the solicitation documents for information regarding questions and comments due date and bid response date. Specifications and terms & conditions are attached. Agency Contact: Steven Ligons 731-253-5261 Steven.N.Ligons@tn.gov 12605 Respondents may submit written questions about this ITB to the Solicitation Coordinator. All questions must be submitted no later than December 9, 2022. he building is approximately 45' x 50'. Ceiling is to be installed approximately 10' high. Ceiling tile are to be 2' x 4' laid in a 15/16" grid system to meet seismic zone requirements. Acoustical R-30 batt insulation is to be installed on top of the ceiling tile. All HVAC vent work and electrical requirements will be performed by others. Bidder is strongly encouraged to visit the job site to take exact measurements prior to bidding the job. Exact measurements are the responsibility of the contractor, and no allowances will be made by the state for errors in measurements
