To provide general construction services for permanent restoration of various types of excavated cuts, which may entail the use of asphalt, brick, concrete, top soil, and grass seed as a result of a gas, water, sewer, or storm sewer pipeline repair, renewal or retirement at various City of Richmond locations. Except in an emergency, all bids for construction Contracts in excess of $100,000 shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount set forth in item 14 of the Bid Form. Such security may be a certified check or a cashier's check or a Bid Bond made payable to the Owner. The Owner may require bid security for lesser bid amounts,however, this will be so stated in the Invitation for Bid. The term of the contract is for one (1) year with four (4) one year renewal options. The City of Richmond also reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals, in whole or in part, to waive informalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of the City of Richmond to be in its best interest
