PURPOSE The purpose of this Solicitation is to establish a contract with one qualified source to provide full service maintenance and repair service for elevators of the Department of Motor Vehicles, hereafter referred to as DMV, an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, located at 2300 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23220. II. SCOPE OF WORK A. REQUIREMENTS 1. Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, materials and equipment necessary to fully maintain elevators listed in ATTACHMENT A in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and schedules of this specification and keep them in first class operating condition as originally specified. a) All work performed under this contract shall be performed in accordance with the standards listed below and revisions thereto, which are incorporated into this contract in their entirety (1) Virginia Statewide Building Code (2) American National Standards Institute/American Society of Mechanical Engineers ( ANSI/ASME) Standards A17.1. (3) Local regulations governing elevator operations (4) Elevator manufacturer's recommended procedures, if available 2. A complete set of current, legible schematic wiring diagrams for each elevator shall be maintained in its machine room. If any of the required schematic wiring diagrams are not available at the time the contract is awarded, it shall be the Contractor's responsibility to notify DMV, who will obtain them. At the end of the contract term, any schematic wiring diagrams provided in this manner shall remain the property of DMV. Any and all circuit changes made by the contractor shall be clearly marked on each applicable wiring diagram.
