The design and construction of the inclement weather shelter includes the rehabilitation of an occupied building and will adhere to all City of Richmond, Section 3, and Davis Bacon wage requirements. The construction of the inclement weather shelter includes the demolition of approximately 8,400 sq. ft. within a sub-section of the existing building. A separate building permit and land disturbance application will be submitted by the chosen general contractor. Site work design and construction will include a new sanitary sewer and gas line as well as a sidewalk connecting the entrance to the existing right of way. The Proposer shall propose the construction schedule however a key selection criterion is the opening of the inclement weather shelter beginning November 1st.
