Georgia State University (GSU, Using Agency), is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from firms interested in providing General Contractor (GC) services for the project known as Project No. J-321/ N003-021-21, Dunwoody Campus, Bldg. NC, Dental Hygiene Teaching Lab Addition, Dunwoody, Georgia. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to identify the most qualified potential providers of the services mentioned above. Firms determined by the Owner to be the most qualified for this project will be invited to offer Competitive Sealed Bids for these services. All respondents to this RFQ are subject to instructions communicated in this document and additional terms and conditions listed in the Owners Request for Qualifications / Request for Competitive Sealed Bids (RFQ/RFP). The project consists of a 7,904 sf, 1 story addition to an existing 3 story masonry classroom building, for the purpose of expanding the dentistry teaching program. Program scope includes but is not limited to constructing twenty operatories, radiology, impressions, sterilization labs, dispensary, reception area for the outpatient clinic services housed in the new slab on grade, type II-B, brick façade, PVC roofed structure. New mechanical, electrical, plumbing, low voltage, fire alarm, sprinkler, hard and soft scape are included. The architectural firm of Lord Aeck Sargent Architects is currently developing construction documents for the project, which should be complete and available for distribution to eligible firms by June 15, 2022. It is anticipated that construction will begin August 2022 and be completed by June 2023. (All of the dates above are estimates which are subject to change.)
