The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking proposals from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide Pines Point and Pines Place Air Conditioning Units, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation. The City intends to establish a pool of contractors, in which the City will contact all of the contractors in the pool when a project arises to get a quote and a timeline to complete the requested project. The lowest, most responsive/responsible CONTRACTOR that can meet the City's requirements shall be awarded the project(s) on an as-needed basis. The City shall prioritize project awards by price, availability, and turnaround time. In the event the lowest priced firm in the pool of contractors does not have the capacity or ability to accomplish a project within the required time frame, the City shall move to engage the next lowest priced CONTRACTOR with adequate availability and acceptable turnaround time. Services shall be on an as-needed basis, therefore being part of the pre-qualified pool of contractors does not guarantee any work or selection for a project resulting from this bid. The requested air conditioning units are intended to replace units that are currently end of life, and units that become end of life during the term of the contract.
