Bidders are required to show identification at the Guard Booth when entering the site and must sign in at the Security Officers desk once inside. Scope- Project involves the renovation of the current Field Maintenance Shop #3 at River Road Training Site. Work to be accomplished in accordance with the contract includes the repair and replacement of interior administrative finishes, latrine repair/renovation, HVAC system replacement, new facility fire suppression, new domestic water service and new dedicated fire suppression system water service, CO/NX detection upgrades, electrical panel replacement and electrical lighting replacements. Sealed bids shall be mailed and addressed to the Delaware Army National Guard, 1 Vavala Way, New Castle, Delaware 19720; ATTN: Brittney M. Poore, Business Manager. The outer envelope should clearly indicate: "DEARNG Contract 2021-03; ARNG 21-003 FMS3RENO -Field Maintenance Shop #3 Renovation Phase 1 - SEALED BID - DO NOT OPEN." Construction documents will be available for review at the office of Century Engineering, 550 Bay Road, Dover, DE 19901. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) and Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (VBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids on this contract and will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration of this award. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sum equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein. The Owner may extend the time and place for the opening of the bids from that described in the advertisement, with not less than two calendar days' notice by certified delivery, facsimile machine or other electronic means to those bidders receiving plans.
