Type of Contract: Construction, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Single Award Contract County: Fremont County, Idaho Type of Construction: Highway Magnitude: $100,000 and $250,000 NAICS: 237310 Size Standard: $39.5 Million Set-Aside: Total Small Business Final Inspection and Acceptance Final completion of the punch list items, submission of all required submittals, and final cleanup of the project site shall be completed before the contract's required completion date. The Contracting Officer or his/her designated representative will perform final inspection. Acceptance of the work will occur only upon written notice of acceptance by the ordering Contracting Officer, or any other Warranted Contracting Officer employed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and performing authorized duties in conjunction with this contract. The contracts required completion date is 60 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed. Period of Performance: 07/06/2022 to 09/09/2022 Commencement, Prosecution, and Completion of Work (Apr 1984) The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 60 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. *The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. *The Government recognizes that seasonal climatic conditions may occur that restrict or prohibit normal construction activities. The anticipated length of the seasonal delay for this project is 0 days. This number of days has been included in calculating the stated period of performance. Therefore, the contract period of performance will not be extended due to normal seasonal weather delays. F.3 52.211-12 Liquidated Damages--Construction (Apr 1984) (a) If the Contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified in the contract, the Contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in the amount of $900.00 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. (b) If the Government terminates the Contractor's right to proceed, liquidated damages will continue to accrue until the work is completed. These liquidated damages are in addition to excess costs of repurchase under the Termination clause. F.4 52.236-15 Schedules for Construction Contracts (Apr 1984) (a) The Contractor shall, within five days after the work commences on the contract or another period of time determined by the Contracting Officer, prepare and submit to the Contracting Officer for approval three copies of a practicable schedule showing the order in which the Contractor proposes to perform the work, and the dates on which the Contractor contemplates starting and completing the several salient features of the work (including acquiring materials, plant, and equipment). The schedule shall be in the form of a progress chart of suitable scale to indicate appropriately the percentage of work scheduled for completion by any given date during the period. If the Contractor fails to submit a schedule within the time prescribed, the Contracting Officer may withhold approval of progress payments until the Contractor submits the required schedule. If the answer to the question in 1.) is yes, then an interested party (those affected by the action) can request review and reconsideration from the Wage and Hour Administrator (See 29 CFR Part 1.8 and 29 CFR Part 7).
