Light Tree Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project. The Work Will Include the Furnishing of All Labor, Materials and Equipment, and Other Appurtenances for Replacement of Sanitary Sewer Mains and Manholes by Open Trench Method, as Indicated on the Project Plans. Each Bid Proposal Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check or a Proposal Guaranty Bond Payable to the Order of the East Palo Alto Sanitary District in an Amount Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Amount of the Bid as a Guaranty That the Bidder Will Execute the Contract if It Be Awarded to Him in Conformity With the Proposal. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a Performance Bond in an Amount Not Less Than One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price and a Labor and Material Bond in an Amount Equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The District ("Owner") Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Determine Which Proposal Is, in the Judgment of the District, the Lowest Responsible Bid of a Responsible Bidder or Group of Bidders and Which Proposal Should Be Accepted in the Best Interest of the District. The District Also Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informalities in Any Proposal or Bid. The Successful Bidder Shall Post a Copy of Such Determinations at Each Job Site. In Accordance With the Provisions of California Public Contract Code Section 3300, the District Has Determined That the Contractor Shall Possess a Valid Class a License or a Combination of the Class C Licenses Indicated in Article B8.01-license Requirements, at the Time That the Contract Is Awarded. Failure to Possess the Specified License(S) Shall Render the Bid as Non-responsive and Shall Act as a Bar to Award of the Contract to Any Bidder Not Possessing Said License(S) at the Time of Award.
