The work consists generally of pedestrian facility and street improvements including but not limited to pedestrian refuge islands, crosswalk improvements, curb, gutter, sidewalk, stamped concrete, curb ramps, driveways, demolition, HMA pavement overlay, striping, streetlights, fencing, storm drain, tree removal, and other such items not mentioned herein that are required by the project plans and specifications on Morgan Road. The successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond. Each bond is to be executed in a sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. City Staff will certify that the certificate of authority of the insurer has not been surrendered, revoked, canceled, annulled, or suspended, or in the event that is has, that renewed authority has been granted within 10 calendar days of the insurer's receipt of the certificate shall be required. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Any bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract documents may be rejected.
