**The Project has been canceled, there is no plan to rebid the project.** Town of Discovery Bay Community Services District (CSD) invites sealed Bids for the Discovery Bay Wastewater Outfall Diffuser Replacement Project, located at 17501 Highway 4 (Plant #2) Discovery Bay , CA 94505 Furnishing Labor and Materials to perform, HDPE pipe fusion welding and fabrication, steel pipe welding and fabrication, river bottom dredging, underwater demolition and removal of an existing outfall structure on the Old River bottom; assembly, construction, start-up, and testing of a replacement outfall pipe structure; backfill placement of previously dredged material, and misc. services at the Discovery Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant #2 and in the Old River channel adjacent to Plant #2 for the Wastewater Outfall Diffuser Replacement Project. Responses to all questions will be sent to all bidders three working days before the bid opening. All bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check payable to the order of the Town of Discovery Bay CSD, amounting to (10%) percent of the Bid or by a bond in said amount and payable to the Town of Discovery Bay CSD signed by the Bidder and a corporate surety, or by the Bidder and two sureties who shall justify before any officer competent to administer an oath, in double the amount and over and above all statutory exemptions (hereinafter "Security"). The Town of Discovery Bay CSD Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. The successful bidder shall have 206 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed to complete the work. Prevailing wage as determined by the State of California, Director of Industrial Relations are required for this project, a copy of which is available at the Office of the Town of Discovery Bay CSD.
