This invitation is extended by the Wayne County Housing Authority (WCHA) for the construction of the described project. Sealed bids, in duplicate, are invited for a prime Mechanical Construction Contract. The work of this project includes, but is not limited to mechanical HVAC, electrical, and plumbing construction related to boiler upgrades at WCHA Barker Street Apartments located at 615 Barker Street, Hawley, PA 18428. The Wayne County Housing Authority has placed bid materials on file for Barker Street Apartments Boiler Upgrades project. All bids shall be sent or hand delivered to Wayne County Housing Authority at 130 Carbondale Road, PO Box Z, Waymart, PA 184725 with the ability to track the delivery. Bid Envelopes/Packets are to be sealed and plainly marked with Wayne County Housing Authority Barker Street Apartments Boiler Upgrades Bid and contain all Bid Forms. The project is located at WCHA Barker Street Apartments, 615 Barker Street, Hawley PA 18428. Wage Requirement; Equal Employment Opportunity: Attention is called to the wage and equal employment opportunity requirements of this project, as contained in the Bid Documents. Authority Rights: The Wayne County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Proposal Term: No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the time of opening without the consent of the Authority. Contract Time: One Hundred Sixty (160) calendar days has been established as the construction period. Attention is directed to the liquidated damages clause in the Special Conditions section of the specifications. Permits: The successful Bidder shall be required to obtain and pay costs of all applicable licenses, permits and fees and shall submit copies to the Authority.
