Project Description: Install approx. 3,400 LF of new 12" and 8" water mains and appurtenances along the proposed private roadways, within a blanket water main easement dedicated to the Dix Hills Water District. Connections to be made at: Truxton Road Ryder Avenue Concord Street Installation of thirty (30) domestic water services from the main up to and including curb stop. Installation of seven (7) fire hydrants at approved locations. Connect to existing water mains on Ryder Avenue Truxton Road. Restoration of trench area to be performed in accordance with Town of Huntington requirements A proposal submitted by a bidder who is not in full compliance with the provisions of the Huntington Town Code at the time of submission will be denied. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in, to reject any or all Bids submitted, or to accept the Bid and award the Contract to the lowest, responsible, formal Bidder therefore, pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law.
