Ithaca School district is requesting bids for adding a mobile home to the grounds, for the purpose of a day care. A general contractor will be needed. These are the requirements for the proposal: 1. An area to place the 24'x72' mobile home 2. Walkways and entrance areas at ground level, ADA compliant. 3. Parking area. 4. Excavation and drainage around the area (consideration of gutters, eaves, downspouts) 5. Hook ups from school to mobile home for all utilities 6. Other unseen requirements for a day care and/or school not mentioned in the RFP. Once the building has arrived on site: 1. Placing the mobile home on the base, replacing all siding, roofing, etc. to make the mobile home whole. (It is in two halves) 2. Include tethering to the ground, hand railing, outside lighting, checking inside connections (water, electric, sewer), phone and internet connections, and fire safety. 3. Drainage around the area: placement of gutters, eaves, and downspouts 4. Other unseen requirements for a day care and/or school not mentioned in the RFP.
