Renovation of a multi-residential development in Nelson, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The work includes replacing 2 make-up air units and installing ceiling fans and as further set out at Appendices: a. Appendix E - Specifications and Drawings Copper Mountain Court is owned and operated by Nelson Cares Society. The property consists of three separate buildings containing a total of 37 residential units: Building 1 (South Building) - three storey apartment building with a total of 23 units Building 2 (East Building) - two storey containing a total of 7 townhouses Building 3 (West Building) - two storey containing a total of 7 townhouses The objective of this work is to cool down the buildings. The units on the south facing in building 1 gets really hot in the summer. Nelson Cares Society has hired Infinity Solutions Engineering as the consultant to provide some methods to cool down the buildings. The scope of work for this project is as follows: Replace the existing two make-up air units with new two new condensing units and two new heat pump coils Installing ceiling fans in each of the 14 townhouse units The contractor is to refer to Appendix E for a detail summary of the scope of work, performance requirements of the MUAs, location of the new condensing units/heat pumps, location of the fans in the townhouses, and overall design provided by Infinity Solutions Engineering.
