Renovation of a fire / police facility in Kimberley, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
This Project aims to complete a Fire Facility Master Plan (FFMP) and a Training Centre Modernization Plan (TCMP). Training Centre Modernization Plan includes: relocation and modernization of the Fire Department's training facility. TIMELINE: Request for proposals from consultants with prior experience to develop two separate plans is closed. Award is pending. The first plan will serve as a Fire Facility Master Plan (FFMP). The FFMP will support the long term Fire Department planning process by establishing a framework for future decisions. The second plan is a Training Centre Modernization Plan (TCMP) that will serve as a project plan for the creation of a modern training facility for a proposed new location. (See Appendix 'B'). Proponents shall familiarize themselves with all aspects this RFP. Further information regarding the scope of work is contained in the Scope & Deliverables section of this RFP. Further update in fall 2022, pending selection of a preferred proponent.
