Site work and paving for a civil project in Eureka, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Paving (Highway, Road or Street), Utility Street Construction and Excavation, Sewer and Water Construction, Water Utilities, Street/Road Repairs, Street/Roadway Reconstruction , Street/Road Asphalt Resurfacing and Milling Eureka County intends to rehabilitate and replace roadways, drainage, and underground utilities located within the town of Eureka. Phase 1 of the multiphase-multiyear improvements includes portions of the town of Eureka west of Main Street and North of Ruby Hill Avenue. The project will include replacement of approximately 2,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer, approximately 1,600 linear feet of storm drain, 4,500 linear feet of water main, 3,250 linear feet of fiber optic, and full road rehabilitation (approximately 240,000 SF) within the project limits. Additionally, Phase 1 will include road improvements in Crescent Valley. Roadway improvements will include 240,000 square feet of double chip-seal with treated (stabilized) base, 1,280,000 square feet of double chip-seal without treated base, and 99,000 square feet of new asphalt pavement with treated (stabilized) base. The preconstruction phase of this public work will involve a review of constructability, project phasing, cost estimating, and possible value-engineering opportunities. The preconstruction phase of the project is anticipated to commence in July of 2022 and extend through June of 2023.
