Project Name:asphalt Repair Project District Wide. This Project Is Subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 Ilcs 130/0.01 Et Seq. The Contractor Shall Also Abide by the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 Ilcs 570, Sec 1-7). Minority Business Firms Are Encouraged to Submit Bids on the Project and Successful Contract Bidders Are Encouraged to Utilize Minority Businesses as Subcontractors for Supplies, Equipment, Services and Construction. All Bids Must Be Received Prior to the Date and Time Shown Above. The Forest Preserve Commission Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Technicalities. Questions Shall Be Directed to Mike Wiseman at Mwiseman@dupageforest.org. The work to be done for this project shown on specifications entitled, "ASPHALT REPAIR PROJECTS DISTRICT WIDE" shall consist of asphalt, partial depth and full depth, pavement replacement at parking lots District wide including Hidden Lake, West DuPage Woods and Spring Creek Reservoir. Work for partial depth replacement shall include, but not limited to, 2" of surface milling, clean and prep surface after milling, application of prime coating, application of 2" (compacted) Bituminous HMA Course Mix D, N50, and striping per existing layout
