Notice is hereby given that Wayne County Commissioners will accept bids for a single unified general construction contract which includes all aspects of the work according to Drawings and Specifications prepared by LWC Incorporated for Wayne County Courthouse Masonry Cleaning. TIME OF COMPLETION Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the contract time. The start and completion dates will be determined in cooperation with the Contractor, but the overall Project duration shall not exceed 18 months. WAYNE COUNTY IS TAX EXEMPT BIDDERS QUALIFICATIONS: Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws covering their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond equal to 10% of the bid amount. No performance or payment bond shall be required. Bids may not be modified, withdrawn, or cancelled within 30 days following the time and date designated for opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in the bids and bidding. The Owner shall have the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received. It is the intent of the Owner to award the Contract to the lowest responsible or best bidder consistent with the Owners best interest.
