The Washington County Water Conservancy District (district) is seeking Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) for Evaluation and Maintenance of Cathodic Protection Program. Washington County Water Conservancy District (District) is a water conservancy district organized and existing under the Utah Water Conservancy Act. The District is seeking statements of qualifications from qualified design professionals to provide Evaluation and Maintenance of Cathodic Protection Program (procurement item). The District owns and operates several steel pipelines that use Cathodic Protection to prevent corrosion. The selected design professional would assist the District in maintaining the Cathodic Protection program and making any suggestions that would increase its effectiveness. The following contains information relating to the procurement item required and describes the criteria and selection process the District will use to select a design professional and negotiate a satisfactory contract at a price fair and reasonable to the District. The Districts Agreement, which includes its standard terms and conditions, is attached and incorporated as Exhibit A. Comments on the Districts Agreement must be submitted with the design professionals statement of qualifications. The term of this Agreement shall be five years, commencing on the date the Agreement is made The Agreement may not continue or be renewed for any year after the first year of the contract if adequate funds are not appropriated or otherwise available to continue or renew the Agreement. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
