The City of Monticello Arkansas is seeking proposals for the construction of Phase 1 of the Lake Monticello soft-surface trail project, which is estimated to encompass ~10 miles (`52,450 linear feet) of new trail. The full phase 1 project focuses on the construction of a beginner level, bike optimized trail network which incorporates some elements of flow as the natural terrain allows. Trails will be constructed to meet or exceed IMBA standards. The trails will be dual-direction & multi-use trails with some flow features and built to be bicycle optimized.
Please include a detailed cost estimate including flagging, design, and visualization as well as all in construction costs. Estimates should include final quantities of lime-item units as week as allowances for armoring, erosion control, and culverts (if applicable). Estimates should include detailed costs and linear feet for all Built Features including and spanning features (if applicable). The timeline should include key dates associated with milestones in the proposal.

State of Arkansas Licenses Contractor. Successful Bidder must possess a valid license from the State of Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board. However, licensure is not required to submit a bid. Insurance Requirements: Successful bidder will carry insurance as listed below.
The CONTRACTOR shall maintain insurance of the following types: Workers Compensation $1,000,000
General Liability $1,000,000 Timeframe: Successful Bidder will prove their ability to complete jobs on time and within an agreed upon timeframe. No additional days will be allowed beyond agreed upon timeframe unless major unforeseen events such as major weather events or acts of God occur. The City of Monticello hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate las and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. The Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply.
