The general scope of work for this project includes the removal of three old existing rooftop HVAC units and replacement with Dakin HVAC units. Provide three separate mobilizations to remove and install three rooftop units with a crane. Provide and install three Dakin replacement rooftop units. Two on structural steel and one on an existing rooftop curb. Provide a licensed electrician to disconnect and reconnect the units. Provide a controls contractor to disconnect and reconnect the rooftop units and install into the graphics system. Provide and install all sheet metal duct work to connect the building system to the new rooftop units with insulation and venture clade covering. Perform a complete start up of the equipment and produce reports to hand over to the end user along with operator manuals for the roof top units. Remove and recycle the three existing roof top units. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, bank draft or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. Simultaneously with delivery of the fully executed contract, the successful bidder shall deliver to the Owner's Agent executed performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum, as security for the faithful performance of his contract and for the payment of all persons performing labor or furnishing materials in connection therewith. The bonds shall be drawn and have as surety a surety company acceptable to the Owner. Performance and payment bonds shall carry the Event number and the name and address of the successful bidder on the envelope.
