Saving Project...

Demolition and new construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Port Perry, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade warehouse / distribution facility; and for the demolition of a warehouse / distribution facility.

The Township has issued this bid in order to solicit proposals for the replacement of the Sand Dome in Port Perry. The Township of Scugog (the Township) is seeking proposals from pre-qualified contracting firms specializing in removal and reconstruction of a new sand dome. The subject sand dome is located at 1350 Reach Street, Port Perry ON approximately 840 m east of Highway 7/12. The existing Port Perry Depot dome was manufactured and erected in the 1980s by Bulk Store Structures Limited. It is a 30 m dome of the Metric Dome Family. Through several prior inspections many structural items have been noted requiring repair, such include; decaying structural concrete walls; structure repairs needed within the roofing; existing asphalt shingles need to be replaced. It was determined that a new dome would be required to continue to maintain an appropriate material storage for winter maintenance.
