The East End Park Pavilion and Bathhouse located on Rt 12E (East Broadway St) Cape Vincent New York. The Bathhouse consists of a covered walkway with 1 water fountain and adjacent restrooms (Male/Female) containing a shower stall and changing area. There are 3 stalls in each restroom, 1 shower stall and urinals in the male restroom. There are 2 sinks and hand dryers as well as paper towel dispensers. The space is easily accessed at ground level, and has approximately 900 SF of bathrooms, showers, vestibules, changing rooms, utility closets and covered passageway. An additional 1000SF covered picnic patio. Cleaning Services Contract proposal will include all of the following. Tasks to be executed on a daily basis Dusting and cleaning of all exposed surfaces window ledges, o Cleaning and sweeping of floors and tiles o Emptying waste baskets and removal of waste to the containers o Cleaning disinfecting and mop/sponge or wet cleaning of the shower stalls including walls and fixtures. o Cleaning, sweeping and disinfection of the toilets, washbasins, mirrors, ceramics and replacing/replenishing toilet paper, paper towels, anti-bacterial soap, urinal cakes and refreshers. o Cleaning and disinfecting water fountain Tasks to be executed once a week on the premises Cleaning and sweeping of the entrance outside restrooms, sweeping pavilion picnic area. Cleaning of all interior walls to remove dirt, soil, and other extraneous marks due to public use. Tasks to be executed once a month: o Dusting/damp cloth wipe all window frames and horizontal surfaces o Cleaning of all windows interior surfaces. For general cleaning - the contractor must specify the number of staff required based on the area to be cleaned, but with a minimum of 1 (one) individual employed on a full time basis. o 3 working days x 2 hours per day o On site cleaning daily or as required based on increased foot traffic during peak periods of Cape Vincent Village wide Events. (French Festival and Fireworks, Fishing Tournaments) II. CLEANING EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS TO BE PROVIDED BY: o Village of Cape Vincent will provide o Toilet paper (2 layers) o Paper towels (2 layers) o Anti-bacterial soap (liquid) 1. Plastic garbage bags o Broom o Air fresheners for toilets o Disinfection liquid o Sanitary napkin service (for ladies' toilets) 2. The Contractor will provide o Floor Cleaner o Sponges o Cleaning and dusting cloths o Buckets and mats o Gloves o Liquid bleach o Wall and disinfection surface cleaner o Shower disinfectant cleaner o Dust pan o Liquid cleaner for washing glass panes o Other relevant tools for completion of tasks Please note the Village of Cape Vincent prides itself in eco-friendly practices and encourages compliance with NY State green housekeeping criteria. They should to the extent possible be free of phosphates, nitrilotriacetic, ammonia, free of substances that contribute to ozone depletion and made from plant-based ingredients, a renewable resource. Additional consideration will be given as part of the technical evaluation. During the duration of the contract, the Contractor is and remains the employer of its staff. The Contractor recruits, trains, provide uniforms if required and remunerates the staff required for the cleaning of the premises and engages this staff under its sole responsibility. Contractor will comply with all labor and employment requirements set forth by the State of New York. The Contractor insures its staff members against work accidents and engages itself to respect the legislation in place regarding labor matters, social security and taxation, and all other matters related to the services rendered. The Contractor shall supply a copy of current insurance coverage and will name The Village of Cape Vincent as additionally insured. Proof of coverage must be provided prior to start date. Term of Contract. Initial contract shall be for a period of 1 year from the date of signed acceptance with the Village of Cape Vincent with an option for renewal within 60 days of the expiration of this contract. Both parties must be in agreement on terms and any proposed adjustments. Exit clauses. This may be terminated by either party with a 15-day advance notice in writing.
