Contract Award Date: Jun 03, 2022 Contract Award Number: 36C25722P0541 Task/Delivery Order Number: Contractor Awarded Unique Entity ID: JN8RP53DJ577 Contractor Awarded Name: BRAND CONSTRUCTION LLC Contractor Awarded Address: WEST, TX 76691 Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $145861.97000000 Building 163 Secondary Pumps Replacement S2, S3 and S4 and Building 203 CWP 6 and 7 Replacement Temple VA Project Project #: 674-22-2-5065-1139 and 674-22-2-5065-1073 Requirements: o The contractor shall be responsible for providing labor, materials and equipment for the services required to remove and replace secondary chilled water pumps and motors S2, S3 and S4 in Bldg. 163. o The contractor shall be responsible for providing labor, materials and equipment for the services required to remove and replace condenser water pumps and motors #6, and #7 in Bldg. 203. o Work performed will be done at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care Facility in Temple at 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Temple, Texas 76504. After all work is completed, the contractor will have a walkthrough with the Project Manager (PM) or VA COR to ensure all work is completed and ready to receive payment. This is a Turnkey Project. The Government will only provide access to the location. It is the sole responsibility of the Contractor to meet the requirements of this project without any other assistance from the Government. The Contractor shall contact the VA COR 5 days ahead of starting work to allow for coordination. The Contractor shall protect all government property from damage. The contractor shall provide all skilled personnel, services, vehicles, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, facility supervision, administration supervision and any other item(s) necessary to perform and accomplish this service. The contractor shall be familiar with all the terms, conditions, and requirement herein contained. A pre site visit will be coordinated for Contractors bidding and all must be present to verify measurements and investigate site conditions prior to submitting proposal. All work must comply with federal, state, and local regulations. The Contractor shall obtain all required permits. Contractor and all associated subcontractor employees shall comply with applicable facility and local security policies and procedures. Contractor shall provide names of Contractor and Subcontractor employees to the COR or Government representative. VA will issue contractor badge/pass to contractor and subcontractor employees, as applicable. Employee list shall include name, title, qualifications and responsibilities like hazardous materials, PPE, fire safety penetrations, material disposal, lock-out/tag- out, etc. The Contractor shall provide one (1) year performance agreement labor and material in addition to the manufacturer's warranty. Contractor shall provide a warranty management plan copy. The plan shall include information relevant to the warranty of materials and equipment incorporated into the project, including the starting date of warranty. The plan shall be in narrative form and contain enough detail to render it suitable for use by future maintenance and repair personnel, whether tradesmen, or of engineering background, not necessarily familiar with this contract. The plan shall be assembled in a binder and shall be turned over to the Government at the final walkthrough. The warranty period shall begin on the date of project acceptance and shall continue for the full product warranty period. All work shall be done according to the Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) specified for the respective areas where work is performed. Note: The C&A requirements do not apply, and that a Security Accreditation Package is not required for this contract. Note: The Contractor shall field verify all existing conditions, measurements and working space to install, remove or fabricate any requirements for this project. The new system must fit into existing footprint. Note: The Contractor shall provide a written Method of Procedure (MOP) for all outages 5 days prior to starting work. Note: The Contractor shall provide Startup/Set up services. Performance Period: 60 days from Notice Project Requirements: 1. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, material, and equipment to install two (2) Condenser Water Pumps with Motors on base/skids, expansion joints, suction guides and pump pressure gauges for pumps #6 and #7 in building 203. The pumps and motors shall be 60 Head FT, 1728 CAP-GPM, 40HP, 1760rpm. ODP 460/3/60. 2. The Contractor shall Isolate, drain, demo, remove and dispose of existing pumps, base and motors. 3. The Contractor shall Remove existing flex connectors and fab pieces for each pump. 4. The Contractor shall Clean existing inertia bases. 5. The Contractor shall Install new anchors for new pump bases. 6. The Contractor shall Build new suction and discharge piping to connect to new pumps with new gauges and drain valves. 7. The Contractor shall Install new single sphere flex connectors. 8. The Contractor shall Reinstall new pump bases, pumps and motors. 9. The Contractor shall Reconnect all piping and leak check all connections. COST RANGE: Between $100,000 and $250,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
