Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Newport, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision to replace the cooling units in rooms 305 and 305 located in building 1404. o All work to be performed at Building 1404. o Work to be performed in accordance with the Drawings and this Statement of Work. o Customer to provide area for equipment and material storage. o Customer to provide access to area for workers and equipment. o All Work to be in accordance with OSHA and Army Corp of Engineers Safety Manual, EM-385-1-1 Current Edition Safety requirements. o Safety and Health Standards for Construction Industry (29 CFR PART 1929 2007). o NUWCDIVNPT Drawings 21-014A (6 sheets) and this Statement of Work, depict the work required on this particular project. o Contractor shall inspect all work in accordance with FAR 52.245-12 "Inspection of Construction." o Contractor shall coordinate with the Contracting Officers Representative prior to commencement of work to ensure all scheduling and access issues have been worked out properly. Any questions will be directed to the Contracting Officers Representative and not through the customer.
