Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Glencoe, Illinois. Completed plans call for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

Work will include removals, earthwork, concrete curbs, concrete walls, concrete paving, unit paving, asphalt paving, masonry, play equipment installation, site furnishing installation, poured-in-place rubber surfacing, artificial turf play surfacing, planting, and seeding, and drainage structures, and sub drainage. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond per the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to School District 35. The successful bidder, as determined by the School District 35, shall be required to pay, and to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) for the locality of the project (Cook County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The successful contractor and all subcontractors shall be required to submit, to School District 35, certified payrolls no later than the tenth day of each calendar month for the immediately preceding month. School District 35 reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of School District 35. School District 35 encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
