Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work generally consists of the construction of the John Rowswell Hub Trail (JRHT) from St-Mary's River Drive (end of boardwalk) to the intersection of Queen Street and John Street. A new PXO will also be constructed as part of this project. Tender documents may be studied, but not removed, at the Sault Ste. Marie Construction Association, 117 White Oak Drive East, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and at the office of the Consulting Engineer. Complete tender documents, including tender forms and envelopes, may be obtained by general contractors commencing, Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from the office of the Consulting Engineer, WSP, 185 East Street, Sault Ste. Marie, upon payment of a $100.00 refundable document deposit payable to the Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie for each set of contract documents. Only Contractors who submit a bona fide tender will have this deposit refunded if the documents are returned in good condition within fifteen (15) days following the tender closing date.
