Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Municipality intends to retain a seasoned Contractor to undertake the construction of an Outfall Extension for the new Lagoon in the Hamlet of Janvier, in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Work covered under this project takes place along the existing 150mm Outfall Line to the Existing Lagoon, extending to the ditch outlet to the Christina River. The work may include, but is not necessarily limited to: mobilization, implementation and management of temporary traffic and access routes, and temporary facilities, management of the public notification process, environmental procedures including but not limited to waste disposal, preparation and implementation of an Environmental Construction Operations (ECO) Plan, locate and expose third party utilities, site preparation, import, placement, and compaction of an approved fill, removal and protection of existing wetlands, installation of new sanitary sewer and related works, drainage improvements, construction of trails, restoration of all disturbed areas, installation of signage, removal of all temporary facilities and controls, and demobilization.
