Bids MUST be submitted on the form supplied in the Specifications and contain the full name of every person, firm or corporation interested therein and be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of either a certified or cashier's check drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Ohio, together with a consent surety, in the amount of (10%) of the total bid, made payable to the City of Avon Lake, Ohio or a bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid drawn in favor of the City of Avon Lake, all as prescribed in O.R.C. 153.54, and as guarantee that, if the bid accepted, a contract will be entered into with the City, and in default, thereof, said check or bond will be forfeited to the City of Avon Lake as liquidated damages, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed in 75 days. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the lowest and best responsive bid.
