QUESTION DEADLINE: Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 4:30PM PRE-BID CONFERENCE (IF APPLICABLE): None The Providence Public School Department (PPSD) is soliciting proposals to provide Security Consulting Services as directed by the Facilities Department. Currently PPSD maintains a variety of technologies from Analog to Digital Cameras to Servers and access via 3rd party cloud based platform, access points with readers and controllers, intrusion and burglar detection systems that are monitored by a 3rd party contractor for dispatch services. PPSD is faced with a complex set of challenges during a time of major capital improvements. The needs of PPSD will include a phased approach to assist PPSD Facilities team in assessing the systems currently in use across the entire district, and in providing consulting on the evaluation and selection of platform(s) that will provide the technology and solutions for PPSD into the future. Once the selection of platform(s) and criteria of applications based on the needs of different schools is complete, the contractor will assist with phasing of analysis of each location for design and application of the technology to support the vision of PPSD to provide a safe and secure learning environment for all students, teachers, and stakeholders.
