2022 Gas Leak Survey Bids will not be accepted after this time. Subject to the right of the Owner to reject any or all bids, the Owner will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best responsible bid(s). Any questions must be received by the Owner through e-mail no later than 2:00 pm, local time, on Monday, April 18, 2022 in order to provide an addendum to all plan holders. In general, the 2022 Gas Leak Survey includes checking gas mains, gas services, risers or service entrances, regulators and meters up to the meter outlet connection. An estimated 2,000 services with outside gas meters to be inspected and an estimated 3,000 services with inside gas meters to be inspected. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the lowest and best responsible bidder(s). All contractors and/or subcontractors whose employees perform work on a City of Hamilton gas pipeline system must have on file or submit with the bid proposal a copy of the contractor's Operators Qualification Plan and a current P.H.M.S.A. Pipeline Drug & Alcohol Plan
