Saving Project...

New construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 188,810-square-foot, eight-story above grade, 256-bed elderly care / assisted living facility.

New Long-Term Care (LTC) Home at 1919 Riverside Drive, in Ottawa, Ontario. The six-acre site will be developed in two separate phases, with the LTC Home completed in Phase I and a Retirement Home completed in Phase II. The new LTC Home will be a 256-bed, eight-storey concrete, structural steel & precast structure with one Basement level for a total gross floor area of 188,810 sq ft TIMELINE: RFP for a Construction Manager (CM) has closed; a CM has been selected. Prequalification for sub trades is underway; details are followed on a separate report. Site works are expected to begin late spring 2023. Construction of the new building will commence fall 2023. *Award amount is unreleased for publication.
