The location of the work is in the area of the intersection of Spruce Street and S.R. 487 to West Center Street as well a section 0.5 miles down West Center Street in Ralpho Township, Northumberland County, PA. Work generally consists of the following; removal and replacement of approximately 3,300 linear feet of sanitary sewer gravity main, manholes and service laterals along with associated restoration of Township and State roads, stream relocation and bank stabilization work. No bid will be considered unless it is accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The Bid Security shall be made payable to the Municipal Authority of Ralpho Township, County of Northumberland, Pennsylvania. All Bid Bonds must be accompanied by a Power of Attorney or suitable letter of commitment from a licensed surety company as described in the Instructions to Bidders and Specifications. Bids may be held by the OWNER for up to 60 days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. The contract for work under this Bid will obligate the Contractor, and any Subcontractors, not to discriminate in employment practices and to comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and any other such Federal and State requirements presented in bid documents. The Owner reserves the right, at its option, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors or omissions in any or all Bid Proposals, as the Owner may deem to be in its best interest
