Project Description This project consists in the replacement of the exisitng pavement on a segment of Apache Boulevard from Mariposa Ranch Road to Ciardulli Place. The proposed pavement cross-section it varies from 28 feet to 38 feet wide with a layout of 4.5-inch asphalt concrete over 6 aggregate base course. The estimated asphalt pavement replacement area is 97578 SF (10,842 SY). This project includes improvements of a 5 feet concrete sidewalk on the northwest side of the road. This project will also include the adjustement of three existing manhole covers and the striping of the road per striping plans. Objective/Scope of Work The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, services, transportation and perform all the work for the City s project known as Apache Boulevard pavement replacement for City of Nogales, Arizona as called for in the plans/specifications. The proposer should prepare a detailed time schedule for completion. The successful proposer should be prepared to comply with all local, state and federal safety and environmental requirements. Bidders are responsible for monitoring the website referenced above for notifications of changes and addenda related to this project. The City of Nogales reserves the right to accept the lowest, responsible bid; to consider alternatives; to reject any or all bids; and to waive irregularities or information in any bid. Bids received after the specified time of closing will be returned unopened. The City of Nogales also reserves the right to hold any or all bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of opening.
