Renovation of a water / sewer project in Millwood, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and 29,000-square-foot water / sewer project.
The Town of New Castle is requesting sealed proposals from qualified architectural/engineering consultants interested in providing professional consulting services to the Town for preparation of Preliminary Design Drawings, Construction Drawings and Technical Specifications, Bidding, and Inspection Services for a Roof Replacement Project at the Millwood Water Treatment Plant. The Town invites qualified consultants to submit a proposal based upon the scope of work contained within this Request for Proposals. The Millwood Water Treatment Plant is located at 4 Station Place Millwood, NY 10546. It has an existing Carlisle Syntec System roof with rigid insulation, EPDM membrane, and gravel that was originally installed in 1993. The roof is approximately 29,000 square feet and there is a non-functioning Solar Array that needs to be removed before the roof can be replaced. A new Energy Code compliant roof assembly that includes adequate insulation to meet the current Energy Code is desired. The new roof shall be able to support a new Solar Array installation.
