The Town of Saltcoats is please to invite those interested in submitting pricing for the 2022 paving season. The 2022 season will be comprised of at least one project with the possibility of more. Project #1 400 Block of Allan Ave partial base replacement shall include: a) removal and transport of existing base (50 M x 7M x 2M) b) installation of Geo-tech carpet (50 M x 7M x 2M) c) replacement of removed material to grade, compaction, made ready for paving Project #2 400 Block of Allan Ave Paving a) re-establish gradient and/or crown to roadway b) appropriate compaction of roadway c) paving of roadway with asphalt (232 M x 7M x 3 inches) d) if need raising od 3 manholes and 32 main valves to grade e) tying new roadway to 2 existing street surfaces f) sloping down to exiting driveways in a gradual manner Project #3 100 Block Crescent Lake Road partial base replacement shall include: a) removal and transport of existing base (30M x 7M x 2M) b) Installation of geo-tech carpet (30 M x 7M x 2M) c) replacement of material removed, to grade, compaction, made ready for paving Project #4 100 Block of Crescent Lake Road Paving a) re-establish gradient and/or crown of roadway b) appropriate compaction of roadway c) Paving of roadway with asphalt (132 M x 7 M x 3 inches) d) if need Project #5 Asphalt topping of High Street between York Street and Tupper Street shall include: a) patching of existing road surface to grade b) application of 2" topping to be applied and compacted to existing road surface (244 M x 7M x1 inch) c) tying new road surface to conneting streets d) sloping down to existing driveways ina gradual manner
