A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Department of Public Works (DPW) plays a major role in connecting neighborhoods and keeping all elements of the City functioning properly. DPW is responsible for maintenance of the Citys infrastructure, collection, and disposal of residential solid waste, and for snow removal from city streets and facilities. The department is comprised of the following divisions: Administration, Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Traffic and Construction Inspection), Fleet Services, Solid Waste Collection (Garbage/Recycling), Operations (Streets, Sidewalks), Building Services, Division of Water, and Parks and Recreation. The City of Buffalo (City) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to establish a combined DPW Campus.
