The proposed work includes: The construction of a new 71'-0" single span, NU-35 concrete girder bridge with galvanized steel piling (14" round), concrete abutments, W-beam railing, traffic control, and all appurtenances. Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. A certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall e submitted with each proposal. The DBE goal for this project is 5%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project.
