Proposals shall be for the furnishing of materials and the performance of labor necessary for the: Mercer County Maintenance Building Reroof 1001 W. Market St., Celina, OH 45822 A Lump Sum bid for the project will be received. A Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit, or surety company bond pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised code in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall accompany each bid; or a bid guaranty bond in accordance with Chapter 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 100% of the total bid shall accompany each bid. If a bid security in the amount of 10% of the full bid amount is submitted with this bid, each successful bidder is required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond from an acceptable surety in the amount of 100% of the full contract amount in accordance with Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. If a bid guaranty bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid is submitted with the bid, no additional Performance and Labor and Material Bond is required to be furnished by the successful Bidder. Successful Bidders shall conform to the Ohio "Schedule of Prevailing Wages." The bidder may access the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage & Hour Bureau at its web site for current edition of wage rates. General Construction: This project will provide a new layover roof on the existing Mercer County Maintenance Building. This project is located in Celina, Ohio at the fairgrounds. Existing roof to remain. Remove and dispose of existing step flashing and wall metal. New 1" polyiso insulation board to fill in existing standing seam roof. Additional 1 1/2" polyiso overlay insulation to be mechanically adhered with a 60 mil fleece back PVC membrane to be fully adhered over top. Membrane to wrap up and over North and South parapet walls with new coping caps. New 24 gauge industrial grade 8" gutter system with new 4x5" downspouts to match existing locations. Alternate 1 to install S-5 snow rail system mounted to wood blocking on the east edge of the roof. Each bid must be submitted in duplicate on a blank form furnished by the Architect, in a sealed envelope. Mark plainly on the outside of the envelope, the project you are bidding on. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, irregularities and/or errors in the bids to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids.
