The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is seeking a Contractor to perform, on an on-call Service Request basis, all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary for the troubleshooting, servicing, maintenance, repair and/or replacement of electrical related issues at CARB's Haagen-Smit Laboratory (HSL) located at 9528 Telstar Avenue, El Monte, California 91731. All work provided by Contractor shall be inspected by CARB's Southern Facilities Unit (SFU) to ensure that the scope of the service request has been completed. CARB is solely responsible for determining acceptability of the work performed and the operability of the equipment. In the case of work requiring specialty inspection or performed under a building code, all required approvals shall be provided by qualified inspectors certified by corresponding regulatory entity approving the work. The contract term shall be for twelve (12) months This contract will contain a one (1) year option to renew. If this contract is renewed, it will be at the same rates provided in the Contractor Cost Sheet. It is at the discretion of CARB to exercise this option. CARB's budget for this project is $49,999.00. Bids exceeding this amount may be deemed nonresponsive and ineligible for award. Reasonable accommodations will be provided to prospective bidders needing assistance due to a physical impairment, upon request to CARB for the Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Inspection. The Payment Bond is not required at the time of bid submittal; however, it is required, as applicable, prior to the start date of the Agreement.
