The Gutter, Soffit and Cornice Work at the Old Main Pump Building, Capital Project No. 2321, consists of the following: Remove Three (3) courses of Spanish tile at entire perimeter. Remove underlayment and clean roof free of debris. Install Grace Ice & Water Shield membrane at eaves. After new gutters and soffits are installed, strip in the new gutter apron with new Grace Ice & Water Shield. Reset the Spanish tile to align with tile and deck. Install new snow guards over east entry way. Demo existing gutter, fascia, soffit, frieze and brackets from the existing structure. Supply and install approx. 230 of 16oz copper fascia cladding to tile roof eaves. Supply and install approx. 230 of 16oz copper hidden gutter with hangers 24 o.c. and soldered joints for a water tight system installed behind fascia cladding to match the existing. Includes 4x 5 16oz copper downspouts in existing locations. Supply and install approx. 30' of 16oz copper 4 x 5 downspout that drains at grade to the northeast corner of the building. Supply and install approx. 230 of 16oz copper flat soffit cladding with trims. Supply and install (18) 16oz copper Large Brackets that have been removed and salvaged from the structure. All components to be fully soldered and installed in their original locations. Supply and install (28) 16oz copper Small Brackets that have been removed and salvaged from the structure. All components to be fully soldered and installed in their original locations. Supply and install approx. 230 of 16oz copper frieze cornice to match the existing in size and profile. Bidder's attention is called to Article 2 Instructions to Bidders 3.8 requirements for Statement of Qualifications. Bidder must have a permanent business office within forty (40) miles of FRSA's office at 351 Kishwaukee Street in Rockford, Illinois. The completion date is September 1, 2022. Liquidated damages shall be $300.00 per calendar day beyond that date. Plans and specifications may also be viewed at the offices of the Northern Illinois Building Contractors Association at 1111 S. All construction shall be done in accordance with specifications on file with FRSA, including FRSAs General Provisions and Technical Specifications for Sanitary Sewer Construction (Current Edition). The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory surety such as Performance Bond, cash bond, irrevocable letter of credit, surety bond, or letter of commitment issued by a bank, savings and loan association, surety, or insurance company. No Bid shall be withdrawn without FRSA's consent for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. FRSA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, or to accept any bid or any part thereof, or to waive any formalities in any bids, deemed to be in the best interest of FRSA.
