Traffic Signal Improvements ESTIMATED PROJECT BUDGET = $7,956,000.0 The purpose of the project is to provide traffic signal and intersection improvements to the following intersections: PROJECT LIMITS: Pebble Hills Dr. and Tierra Mina Dr. Edgemere Blvd. and Tierra Dorada Dr. Edgemere Blvd. and Tim Foster Dr. Ventana Ave. Tierra Este Road Pebble Hills Dr. and Tim Foster St. Pebble Hills Dr. and John Hayes St. Mesa Hills Dr. and Cabaret Dr. Sean Haggerty Dr. and Rushing Road Rich Beem Dr. and Ralph Saitsinger Dr. Paseo del Norte and West Towne Zaragoza Road and Castner Dr (TXDOT) Lee Trevino Dr. and Ivanhoe Dr. The improvements consist of installation of traffic signals, signage and pavement markings including modifications to Hot-Mix Asphaltic Concrete (HMAC) and Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavements (CRCP), ADA compliant sidewalks and ramps, driveways, curb and gutters, rolled curbs, illumination, and traffic signal interconnect system. Demolition: o Remove and properly dispose existing asphaltic and concrete pavement (regardless of depth), basecourse (regardless of depth), subgrade material, curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways, pavement markings, ramps, miscellaneous concrete, parkways, clearing and grubbing, traffic signs, light poles and pavement markings. Intersection Improvements: o Installation of traffic signals, signage and pavement markings, HMAC and CRCP pavements, cement treated base course, flexible base course, suitable subgrade soils, standard curb and gutter, rolled curb, monolithic concrete curb, City monuments, ADA compliant sidewalks, ADA compliant wheelchair ramps, detectable warning panels, reinforced concrete driveways, landscape modifications, irrigation system modifications, traffic signs, pavement markings and street lighting. The work will require establishing traffic and erosion control measures.
