**As of June 24, 2022, this project has been awarded to Dean Blum Excavating: Proposal A - $489,371.23 Proposal B - $678,656.12 and the total awarded amount is $1,168,027.35** Six different locations in Baraboo where streets will be reconstructed. The work for which bids are requested includes two (2) individual Proposals: Proposal "A": Reconstruction of approx. 650 feet of Oak Street from 6th St to 8th St Reconstruction of approx. 700 feet of Oak Street from 15 Ave to Madison Ave Pulverize and Overlay approx. 1,100 feet of Bascom Hill Drive from Draper St west. Installation of New Sidewalk at the following locations: o Mine Road (between Walnut St & Silver Dr) - approximately 2,580 sq. ft. o Silver Drive (between Mine Rd & Parkside Ave) - approximately 1,350 sq. ft. o Badger Drive (from Hitchcock St to the east) - approximately 2,293 sq. ft. o Russell Street (from Rachael Rd to Lynn Ave) - approximately 5,514 sq. ft. Proposal "B": Reconstruction of approx. 2,250 feet of Elizabeth Street from 8th St to 14th St Reconstruction of approx. 325 feet of 4th Street from Elizabeth St to Camp St Reconstruction of approx. 450 feet of Angle Street from 5th Ave to 6th Ave. Site Directions: Six different locations in Baraboo where streets will be reconstructed. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check, cash, or bid bond to the City of Baraboo within 72 hours of the bid opening, Attn: Lori Laux, City Treasurer, 101South Boulevard, Baraboo, WI 53913. No Bid may be withdrawn and each bid will be valid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of bid opening. Pursuant to Section 66.0903 Wisconsin Statutes, the minimum wages to be paid for both Proposal A and Proposal B of this project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates.
